2016 – 2017
A Study in Postal Financial Inclusion was undertaken including the design of guidelines for policymakers, regulators and operators with a framework to enhance the role of postal networks in digital financial inclusion for CRASA which is the Communications Regulators’ Associations of Southern Africa or SADC, based in Gaborone, Botswana, between January 2016 and February 2017.
The Study addressed in particular the need for dialogue and coordination between the postal and financial regulators. A workshop with all regulators took place in Lilongwe, Malawi, in August 2016. Decision/analysis partners was leading the project.
