2015 – 2016
Preparation of a Master Plan for the Postal sector in West Africa (ECOWAS). The project included sector analysis, assessment of the postal regulatory frameworks and enabling e-commerce parcel delivery and digital financial inclusion, due diligence of the national postal operators, strategic diagnosis and identification and preparation of regionalization programs, and financing thereof.
In July 2016 the Commission and the West African Postal Conference (WAPCO) validated the Masterplan and are currently being assisted in follow up measures. The project was undertaken together with IOS Partners in the period January 2015 – July 2016.
