2012 – 2013
Research was undertaken regarding:
(a) Postal Financial Services,
(b) Public Private Partnerships.
Contributions were provided based on analysis of best practices in OECD postal operators, applicability for the USPS and required corporate reforms to expand financial services, respectively to prepare for build-up of partnerships and related corporate finance; between August 2012- December 2013. The research was required by the Office of the Inspector General of the United States Postal VA, USA. The white paper on Non-Bank Financial Services describes a potential role of post offices in agency banking and drew much attention, also of politicians, workers’ unions and other stakeholders.
