Design of a Turn Around Strategy of Thailand Post through a strategic alliance with Krung Thai Bank whereby KTB operates and expands the financial services, and helps Thailand Post with management reinforcement to introduce 9 new postal product lines (e.g. direct mail, hybrid mail) and retail trade at post offices and whereby KTB arranges access to finance the viable projects and ensured that the Government subsidy is capped for the next 2 years and terminated thereafter.
The project was undertaken in 2003 shortly after the separation of Thailand Post from the Telecommunications incumbent.
